i had my dinner with my mother.

She shared a story with my eldest sis and me.

A story about a Mum and a married daughter with kids. Her daughter was planning for a overseas trips with her family. Unfortuanately, her mother was diagnosed with cancer which requires immediate treatments.

" We will encourage you to treat your mother as soon as possible as there is a chance for recovery, 30,000 dollars are required for this treatment" the doctor said.

" Hmm doctor, is it possible to avoid any treatment as i am planning for a overseas trip with my family.'' her daugther replied

'' Haiyo, since she is so old. just let her live without the treatment'' she said

''But your mother need the treament live longer.'' the doctor added.

So her daugther didn't spare a single dollar for her mum's treament. She prefers letting her mum pain to death.

A few weeks later, her daugther set off for europe.

During that period, her mother recieved a call from the kidnappers. Saying that her daugther was kidnapped and they want $5,000 cash from her to realease her daugther.

Without any doubts, her mum took out her own savings to give the kidnappers money. Her mum was worried. and she called her daugther.

Her daugther was not kidnapped. She was enjoying in europe.

She (daugther) got to know about the ransom incident.
She scolded her mother for being stupid and brainless.

Soon after, her mum died due to her health problems (cancer).

Her relatives scolded her daugther for being selfish and unfilial.

" YOUR MUM USE UP HER OWN SAVINGS JUST TO SAVE YOU. SHE CARES FOR YOU AND YOU STILL SCOLD HER!''

"YOU ARE IN DANGER, YOUR MUM DO ANYTHING JUST TO SAVE YOU.''

''WHEN YOUR MUM IS IN BAD SHAPE, REQUIRIES TREATMENTS. YOU CHOOSE HOLIDAY OVER YOUR MUM. YOU CHOOSE TO SPEND MONEY ON HOLIDAY RATHER THAN USING IT ON YOUR MOTHER'S TREATMENT!''

"AND NOW YOUR MUM IS DEAD, THERE IS NO USE CRYING'' her relative screamed.

why is there such a selfish person in this world.

We all need to appreciate others help and heart.
No matter you are in good /bad shape. Your mother will always stand by you.
