sometimes i really wonder.....
why until now, the ladies team (from batch to batch)still unable to get a medal.
its been how many years. 4-5 years?
When others are winning like nobody's business?
why is that so?
I teared whenever i watch those videos, asked myself why again & again.
Every training we been through, we ended it with a smile.
But not for the races.
after those major races, i have to force myself to move on.
and why do the ladies have to bear the pain for losing.
why?
i watched nus, ntu's video clips.
i feel even more horrible.
and started to ask myself why again & again.
puzzled.
must be the feng sui.

actually i think it's partly cause of the morale of the team.
and morale doesn't mean just morale during race.
it's kind of like... keeping up the morale of the team throughout the year be it during trainings etc etc.
i wouldn't say ngee ann is not a hardworking team.
in fact, i would say they're one of the most hardworking teams of all (if you compare with ntu larh).
i guess... it's about putting all those hard work into rowing that matters the most at the end of the day.
and feeling confident (of course not too much).
the word "confidence" don't mean confident about beating other teams.
it's more of being confident that you'll be able to follow your game plan nicely without any mistakes.
it should be like... a "training set".
that's what i feel that they're lacking i think...
not too sure larh cause i haven't seen them for damn long already haha.
